![]() ![]() Originally I thought I had solved my controller issue but had no need to shut down the game during that 13.9 hour gaming session (yes the game is still holds up for first time users). Finally, I got the noise but the game did not shut down or freeze and I had full control with the Xbox series 1 controller via Bluetooth. ![]() This happened maybe a dozen times between trying to launch from the desktop client to launching the game big screen mode. Most times when the controller tried to reconnect to Bluetooth while the game was running the game would make a noise and shut down or completely freeze. In some crazy, black magic, configuration way I was able to play 13.9 hours of the original Rogue Legacy flawlessly on my M1 Max using Bluetooth. I read about M1 controller issues and did not want to just throw in the towel, so I started messing around with the controller settings and turning the Bluetooth settings on and off in macOS with the game running. ![]() So on my new Apple M1 Max, I downloaded, installed and found the controller did not work. The sequel looks far too smooth, it's just not a great look IMO - I preferred the rougher look of the original.ĭon't think this is a niche opinion, I see plenty of comments sharing same feedback. So with the new Rogue Legacy 2 release, I discovered I had never played the original. However, that still doesn't change my opinions on the aesthetics. Thank you for explanation, probably not the best example to use in that case. Original isaac is a flash game, they switched to pixel sprites for the steam release. Pixels ( raster based ) only heirustically scale, which leaves imperfections at higher resolutions, and muddled ones at lower resolutons. Vectors are smooth lines, and scale to any resolution perfectly. Pretty sure the default setting for this is off in Rebirth? So it comes with the pixelated look - you can turn the filter on to smooth it out and resemble the original better (albet not completely) I would uninstall/delete data to check but not losing 700+ hours :D no you fail to understand what makes vector different from pixels. ![]()
